The 37-unit condo building will replace several low-slung structures that were once home to Wylie Dufresne’s ground-breaking WD-50 restaurant. Issac & Stern designed the development, while Paris Forino did the interiors. Last month, the teaser site went live. Pricing will start at approximately $975,000 for one-bedrooms, $1.75 million for two-bedrooms and $3 million for penthouses. The building’s four penthouses will have multiple terraces and big, arched windows, according to Douglas Elliman’s Fredrik Eklund, who is handling sales at the property.
Amenities will include a 24-hour doorman, rooftop terrace, gym, bike storage and private storage.
DHA acquired the site from Icon Realty Management for $28 million. Construction is slated to finish in the third quarter of 2016.
