A teaser site is finally out for 400 Grove by DDG and DM Development.

The Hayes Valley development, designed by Fougeron Architecture, will offer 38 “junior one-bedroom,” one-bedroom, two-bedroom and penthouse residences. Located at the corner of Grove and Gough streets, the building boasts a faceted/peaky redwood facade that evokes Victorian bays. The apartments will open to a central courtyard with bamboo, and select units will have private exterior space.

Amenities will include a virtual doorman, parking and bike storage.

The site, located at Central Freeway Parcel H, was formerly a surface parking lot, Curbed reported. The Planning Commission OKed the developer’s proposal for a mixed-use building, and construction started in December 2013.

Sales will kick off in Spring 2015, according to the Mark Company, which is handling sales and marketing.
