Flushing’s The Grand at Sky View Parc has kicked off sales, with its first tower on the market.
Dubbed “Grand One” on the official site, the 13-story glass building is located at 131-05 40th Road. There will be three buildings total at The Grand at Sky View Parc, which is the second phase of Onex Real Estate Partners’ $1.3 billion Sky View Parc project.
Peter Clewes of architectsAlliance designed the Grand One structure, which will have 247 studio to three-bedroom condominiums. It’s perched on The Shops at Sky View Center, an 800,000-square-foot retail base. Grand One has already sold 50 percent of its apartments ahead of its official launch, Curbed reported last week. The New York Times elaborates: at a January 24th sales event, 700 prospective buyers showed up, and 120 people signed contracts. Unit sizes range from 492 square feet to 1,965 square feet, with pricing from approximately $489,000 to more than $2 million.
The apartments will have ceiling heights up to 9 feet, floor-to-ceiling window walls, hardwood floors and in-unit washer/dryer, with wraparound balconies in select units. The kitchens will have Italian cabinetry, quartz countertops, Bosch appliances, LED under-cabinet lighting and breakfast counters in some units. The bathrooms are equipped with porcelain tile flooring, Grohe fixtures and Kohler bathtubs.
Amenities include a double-height lobby, 24/7 concierge service, valet parking, four-acre rooftop garden, outdoor pool, gas-fired barbecue grills, children’s play area, dog run, putting green, two full-sized tennis courts, basketball court, running track and health club with gym, spa and lounge.
