SouthwoodCondos_Exterior Toronto-based Streetcar Developments is getting set to launch the TACT Architecture-designed Southwood Condos in the emerging Upper Beaches neighbourhood.

The six storey, brick and metal-clad structure will rise on the corner of Kingston Road and Southwood Drive on a small plot of land once occupied by a donut shop and cafe. Its location at 663 Kingston Road places it within close proximity to local shops, cafes, bakeries and of course — being a Streetcar project — public transportation. In fact, the streetcar line to downtown Toronto is directly outside the doors and both Main Street subway station and the Danforth GO station are within walking distance.

Inside, the Southwood will consist of 45 suites with spacious layouts, modern features and finishes and great views of the lake and surrounding greenery. Each unit will also have lots of outdoor space, complete with gas lines for barbecues. Designed as an extension of the living space, these terraces are ideal for lounging, barbecuing or hosting dinner parties.

Sales at Southwood Condos will launch in February 2015 with one bedroom suites starting in the $300,000s and three bedrooms starting in the $600,000s.
