mirror house Photos: Reform

The lower half of this two-story home has a mirror facade, giving the illusion that the top portion is floating above the forest floor.

Located just outside Warsaw, Poland, the Izabelin House was designed by Polish architecture firm Reform to blend in with its surroundings. With open-air living spaces on the ground level and floor-to-ceiling windows above, residents get to enjoy sweeping views of the forest. A surreal design that evokes Amsterdam’s Mirror House by Johan Selbing Architecture and everyone’s favorite Invisible Treehotel in Sweden.
