Construction at FIVE Condos has been progressing well since our last visit when crews were just removing the steel support beams holding the historic 1905 Gothic Revival brick warehouse façade in place. Today, the historic façade stands on its own with new windows installed as part of the refurbishment. When complete later this year, the structure will serve as the grand entrance archway to the condominium by Graywood Developments Ltd and MOD Developments Inc.

With the building now topped off, the exterior glazing has started to work its way up revealing the unique and elegant glass curves and undulating balconies of the Hariri Pontarini Architects-designed structure.

The 539-unit development will also feature impressive amenities including interior design by internationally renowned firm, Cecconi Simone, state-of-the-art fitness and weight rooms, his and hers change rooms with steam rooms, piano bar, cocktail lounge, party room, kitchen, and dining room. The second and fifth floor will also have roof gardens designed by acclaimed landscape architect Janet Rosenberg and Associates, boasting water features, seating areas and barbecues.

Suites range in size from 399 square feet to 1,683 square feet and include nine to ten foot ceilings, pre-finished engineered wood floors, granite or Corian countertops and a Miele stainless steel appliance package.
