Crown Heights rental 1059 Bergen is open for business.
The gut-renovated pre-war brick building has 16 units in two- and three-bedroom layouts. Pricing for available apartments ranges from $2,499 per month for a two-bedroom, one-bathroom to $3,099 per month for a three-bedroom, one-bedroom (net effective, after one month of free rent). The units are ready for immediate move-in; they’ve been on the market for about two months, but the official site seems new.
Interiors have oak wood flooring, stainless steel appliances, exposed brick walls and “fixtures with an on-trend vintage aesthetic,” according to the official site. Amenities include bike storage, a finished roof deck with Manhattan views and a gym.
Permits were filed in November 2013 for the interior renovation of the four-story building, with DJLU Architect as the architect of record. The property traded for $1.95 million in August 2012 to Bergen Property Holdings LLC, according to Department of Finance records.
MySpace NYC is handling leasing. In lieu of model unit shots, the official site helpfully provides Photoshopped images of the building’s blank spaces. We tossed them all into before/after sliders:
