Owning a low-rise home in the city has become an increasingly enviable – and expensive – for many Torontonians. In October, the average price for a new-construction, low-rise home in the GTA smashed records after reaching $694,629.
But you can live in a low-rise home in the GTA, even in Toronto’s pricey downtown core, for much less. We looked into new construction homes currently on the market and found a 1,301-square foot townhouse at the One Park Place South Tower project that comes with 211-square feet of exterior space and two bedrooms, plus an option to turn the den into a third bedroom.
The Currant floorplan, which spans two levels, also features two full bathrooms and a powder room, a porch, patio and a balcony off the master bedroom and second bedroom.
Part of the ambitious Regent Park development spearheaded by The Daniels Corporation, the condos and townhomes that make up the One Park Place South Tower are located at Dundas Street East and Sumach, making commuting a snap. Own a car? The residence also comes with underground parking.
