The Easton’s Group team has never shied away from a challenge and this holiday season is no different.
Over the last two years, the company has helped 355 families through its Holiday Helpers Drive, encouraging guests and employees to donate goods to signature donation boxes within its GTA hotels.
This year, Easton’s Group is taking the charity drive to the next level, introducing the “Trinity of Challenges” to all employees of its seven GTA hotels.
The first challenge is to produce a unique holiday video to celebrate the season, an opportunity for employees to get creative for a good cause. Secondly, each hotel needs to get imaginative when decorating the signature donation box that will be located in its lobby. Finally, each team must work hard to attract the largest contribution of goods to their donation boxes.
“The hotel which wins all three challenges will take home the engraved Easton’s Cup, which will be on display in their lobby for six months. For Easton’s Group hotels outside of the GTA, we are encouraging each hotel to support a local charity in the most robust way possible,” said Reetu Gupta, Managing Director of the Gupta Group, the owner of Easton’s Group of Hotels.
A little competition is always a healthy thing, especially when it’s for such a good cause.
The Gupta Group recently launched one of 2014’s fastest-selling new condo projects in Toronto, Dundas Square Gardens. The 968-unit, two-tower development is planned for the corner of Dundas and Jarvis Streets in the city’s downtown core. To demonstrate its commitment to the area, the company is donating $1,000 for every suite sold to the nearby Ryerson University.
The following Easton’s Group GTA hotels will house donation boxes this holiday season: Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Entertainment District, Hilton Garden Inn Toronto City Centre, Residence Inn Toronto Downtown, Holiday Inn Yorkdale, Hilton Garden Inn Vaughan, Homewood Suites by Hilton in Vaughan and the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Vaughan.
If you happen to find yourself in one of these fine establishments this holiday season, make sure you make a donation!
