Be sure to register to receive pricing information and a selection of floorplans ahead of the grand opening this Saturday. The celebration will kick off 9 am at the presentation centre at 5 Arthur Street, with the condos being sold on a first come, first serve basis.
The Metalworks will be a new urban village with a storied past. The original heritage structure that will anchor the multi-phase undertaking was once home to a grist mill, a distillery and foundry. Now, it will take on a new life, with residential uses as well as new shops, restaurants and more.
The first release will consist of stylish new condos with prices starting from the $190,000s. It’s a unique opportunity to own a little piece of history in the city’s downtown.
The new community will bring extra life into the area. Previously owned by W.C. Wood Company Limited, a freezer manufacturer, the mixed-used development will see more than 2.5 acres of new open green space, plus a new River Walk that will boost connectivity to the Speed River.
Other key features of this development? There is currently 30,000 square feet of retail/commercial space proposed for the site, not to mention over 3,300 square feet of indoor amenities for the residents as well.
We haven’t seen anything of this scale in Guelph before! We’ll say it once more: register now before this weekend’s grand opening event.
