When Aurora Glen launched on September 30th, Lindvest couldn’t have anticipated the response they received from eager house hunters. Within four days, they had 135 firm home sales, selling out the entire phase. Because of the overwhelming success, Lindvest is now planning to move up the launch of Phase 2.

What makes the project so popular? Situated at Leslie Street and Wellington Street East, the homes feature both contemporary and traditional style elevations and double-car garages. But beyond that, the project has embraced a number of state-of-the-art technological features including self-learning thermostats and intelligent locks.

Lindvest used new technology from the get-go, making the sales process that much easier for house hunters. They enlisted the help of Engine Advertising, who custom developed web-based software for the project. This gave pre-registrants, in the order they pre-registered, an opportunity to preview all of the available homes, elevations, floor plans, agreement of purchase and sale as well as starting prices. It also made booking an appointment a snap. Real estate agents were also able to book multiple appointments for their clients through this innovative software.

Once at the sales centre, buyers got a new perspective of the homes. Aurora Glen uses interactive software created by NVYVE and Salefish that makes buying a new home a much easier experience.

Thanks to touchscreen technology and iPads, buyers were able to select the parameters of the lot and home. Not only were they able to see the entire site plan and the proposed homes, but the floorplans were available in 3D with 360 degree rotation ability. It makes visualizing your home so much easier than the standard 2D plans and renderings.

That’s not all. All the info was updated in real time, including product availability, updated pricing information, buyers agreements and all architectural controls to form an accurate up-to-date snapshot of the development as it changes and grows.

Other software bonuses include the builder story as well as local amenities so buyers truly get the best understanding of their new community.
