Monde Condominiums by Great Gulf has been named the Most Outstanding High-Rise Building Over 11 Storeys by the Ontario Home Builders’ Association.

The 40 storey, 516 unit waterfront development will be a glittering addition to the Toronto skyline. The building was designed by Quadrangle Architects Ltd. and Moshe Safdie Architects, who have worked on commercial and residential properties all over the world. The exterior is made of clear and white glass, giving it a reflective appearance — much like the lake it looks out onto.

Sherbourne Common, a 1.5 hectare park with exquisite landscape design, sits adjacent to Monde and is a defining feature of the surrounding neighbourhood. The revitalization of the Toronto waterfront continues to progress and over the next few years, Queens Quay Boulevard will completely transform — adding streetcar lanes, bicycle paths, pedestrian zones and ample green space.

Monde suites range in size from one bedroom to three and a half bedrooms, covering 500 to 1,800 square feet. Prices start from $351,990. The building’s unique outdoor balconies project outward and feature two storeys of overhead space, maximizing privacy and comfort.

Interior design team Cecconi Simone was inspired by nature, using natural materials and an earth tone colour palette to achieve a timeless look. The suite’s floor to ceiling windows provide an abundance of natural light and sweeping waterfront views.

Monde will include enriching amenities such as an outdoor infinity edge pool, private cabanas, a fireside lounge, indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces and a café promenade on the ground level.
