The Continental Park in Elmhurst is opening its sales center and model homes this weekend.
Myles Horn, ABC Properties and Fisher Associates created 79 new studio to three-bedroom homes at the cooperative building, located at 87-10 51st Avenue. Freyer Collaborative designed the project, which features a gated entry private landscaped park.
Studios measure approximately 500 square feet and are priced from $185,000. One-bedrooms range from about 600 square feet to more than 900 square feet and are priced from $229,500. Two-bedrooms measure about 830 square feet to more than 1,050 square feet and are priced from $347,500. Lastly, three-bedrooms, which measure approximately 1,200 square feet, are priced from $509,500.
Interiors have open floor plans, espresso solid oak flooring and kitchens with stainless steel appliances, white Caesarstone countertops and Italian cabinetry. Baths come with porcelain wall and floor tiles, custom tubs and fixtures by Kohler and Grohe. Many of the units enjoy private outdoor space and washer/dryer hook-ups.
The 79 renovated apartments are part of the 153-unit residential building. All common spaces have been redesigned, and new amenities include a children’s playground, fitness center and lounge. The private landscaped park is dotted with mature trees, sculptures, seating, a pond and footbridge.
