Uptown ground breaking

Last week Coquitlam Mayor Richard Stewart joined Colin and Dale Bosa to celebrate the start of construction at Bosa PropertiesUptown, a new urban village community in convenient West Coquitlam.

The trio joined other community leaders and set their hands into ceremonial concrete as a symbol of the lasting impression the two-tower development will have on the new neighbourhood. At the event, the developer also pledged $25,000 to The Children of the Street Society, a local charity. The donation is part of a program of the Bosa Properties Foundation that contributes a portion of the profits from each project back to the community in which it’s built.

And so things are moving along quickly at Uptown, which has already proven to be one of West Coquitlam’s fast-selling developments. Want in on tower number two? As we noted last week, Uptown2 is already open for previews and sales are slated to launch this fall. To learn more about Uptown‘s smartly-designed homes, onsite amenities and walkable neighbourhood, be sure to visit the presentation centre at 581 Clarke Road in Coquitlam. The facility is open from noon to 5pm daily.
