The team behind Harmony Village Sheppard in Scarborough has long been committed to building a health-oriented community for the baby boomer generation. Case in point: the project’s upcoming Living Well Festival that’s taking place this Sunday, September 7th.
City Core Developments and Fortress Real Developments, together with St. Paul’s L’Amoureaux Centre, are hosting the event, where guests can participate in wellness seminars and workshops led by health and nutrition experts. Attendees can also take part in Tai Chi, yoga and calligraphy classes and test out fare from various food trucks.
Some of the leading experts that will take the stage include nutritional expert and author Ara Wiseman, registered dietitian Sosan Hong and Dr. Elie Klein, who specializes in naturopathic medicine. There will also be a number of wellness exhibits on site, from Cold Pressed Juice to Clean Care, a brand that takes a stand against products that contain harmful chemicals.
The event will take place at 3260 Sheppard Avenue East from 11am to 7pm. If your schedule is jam-packed this weekend, you’re in luck! The developers are hosting a Health and Wellness Day on Saturday, September 27th. More details to come.
Once complete, Harmony Village Sheppard will house fifty townhouses and two nine-story manor buildings, along with two 30-storey condo towers. The community will also contain a 30,000-square-foot community space that will feature everything from a movie theatre to swimming pool.
Prices for available suite start from $177,500 and units range in size from 395 square feet to 1,800 square feet.
