Geranium Homes held its annual Neighbourhoods in Bloom gardening events earlier this month, offering complimentary shrubs, evergreens, perennials, pansies and topsoil to homeowners who have moved into its communities during the past year.
“Our gardening events help our buyers to get started with landscaping their new home,” said Boaz Feiner, president of Geranium’s housing division. The event kicked off on Saturday, September 6th in Stouffville for families living in The Neighbourhoods of Cardinal Point Phase 6. The following Saturday, residents of The Verandas in Port Hope received their new plants and flowers.
In Stouffville, the morning event was followed by a community-wide Family Event and Barbecue held in the neighbourhood park, which attracted over 400 attendees. Delicious food, live entertainment, children’s activities, the Stouffville Fire Department and a visit by exotic animals made the afternoon a huge success. Now in its 7th year, the free event promotes the start of Geranium’s annual food drive to support the Whitchurch-Stouffville Food Bank.
A Geranium community is a great place to call home — three-storey urban townhomes in Stouffville are now available at Cardinal Point, Phase 7. In Port Hope, two and three-bedroom bungalows are for sale in Phase 2 of The Verandas.
