Construct a residential community in the heart of a picturesque waterfront town and people will take notice. It’s thanks to this cottage-like setting, together with the design flair of Brennan Custom Homes, that units at Riverstone Gananoque are being snatched up quickly.

The first phase of the Cliffe Craft Residences has already sold. This doesn’t come as a surprise, considering the heritage brick structure will soon be restored into eleven elegant suites. The residence will also offer scenic views of the St. Lawrence River from the south-east side, while the north-west balconies will overlook a landscaped courtyard.

Brennan Custom Homes is also starting construction this week on the Leeds Foundry, which will house four well-appointed townhomes. The developers will preserve its original stone exterior, and each unit will boast its own terrace and spacious backyard. Residents can select from three bedroom and three plus den designs, all of which will face the river. They range in size from 3,024 to 3,171 square feet.

The new residential development is located at Mill Street and Clarence Street in Gananoque’s Lowertown neighbourhood. Once complete, the project will contain 72 units in total, the majority of which are existing industrial buildings that are being repurposed. A new five-story condo will also be added to the site

In terms of amenities, the community will house a marina with 60 boat slips, a new public park and a charming waterfront walkway. This is in addition to the charming shops and gourmet restaurants that dot the town.

Prices for available units range from the $400,000s to $1 million plus and suites range in size from 950 to 3,000 square feet.

Occupancy for phase one is slated for summer 2016.
