The Naftali Group’s 20-story, 57-unit project at 234 East 23rd Street is 75 percent sold. And now, the development’s one and only penthouse has entered the market.

The 2,302-square-foot residence with four bedrooms and 3.5 baths is asking $5.975 million (initial reports pegged the asking price as north of $6 million).

The full-floor apartment, entered directly from the elevator, has an entrance gallery dividing the two flexible entertaining spaces on either side. There are three outdoor spaces totaling 1,347 square feet; the (1) balcony, accessible from the living room space and master bedroom, runs across the southern end of the condo and opens to a (2) loggia, with stairs leading up to a (3) private rooftop terrace with outdoor kitchen.

The penthouse has casement windows, in-unit Bosch washer/dryer and kitchen with white quartzite countertops, silver travertine backsplash, open stainless steel shelving and appliances by Sub-Zero, Bertazzoni, GE and Bosch. The master suite features two walk-in closets and en-suite bathroom with patterned stone tile floor, limestone walls, custom Carrera marble double sink vanity and Waterworks fixtures.
