Just one month ago, two cranes towered over the construction site of The Station, a two-tower condo community by Brandy Lane Homes that neighbours the Wilson subway station. Now, construction is so far along that only one crane remains, and is expected to come down in the coming weeks.
The new residential development at 545 Wilson Avenue in Toronto is making steady progress, and windows are now installed up to the sixth floor of both towers. The commercial space is also making headway thanks to the placement of the floor-to-ceiling glass windows (pictured below), which define the large designated retail area.
In terms of the interior, drywall is being installed on the lower levels, along with piping on the ground floor of the west tower.
While on site, we were told that the construction crew is preparing to lay brick, starting with the west tower. Stay tuned for an update during next month’s tour!
The Station is located minutes from the Yorkdale Shopping Centre and is a 20-minute subway ride from downtown Toronto. Once complete, residents will have access to a wealth of on-site amenities, including an infinity-edge pool, an indoor party room, games and entertainment centre and a fitness area.
Prices for two bedroom, two bedroom plus den and penthouse suites range from the mid $400,000s to over $800,000 and in size from 979 to 2,750 square feet.
