The 57-story development by Fortune International at 16901 Collins Avenue was designed, parallelogram-style, by Herzog & de Meuron. The building’s slanted profile allows the southern sun to linger on the beachside landscape and residences.

Interiors by Pierre Yves Rochon include flow-through layouts with ocean, city and Intracoastal views. The apartments, measuring 1,400 square feet to 11,000 square feet, feature private elevator entry, floor-to-ceiling windows, deep-set terraces with frameless glass railings that comprise a good 30 percent of total living space, walk-in closets and kitchens with wine cooler and appliances by Wolf and Sub-Zero. Every residence has a laundry room with washer and dryer, while three- to five-bedroom units come with service quarters with full bath.

Raymond Jungles served as landscape architect. The three floors of amenities are contained in a curved “ribbon” that wraps around the structure, forming the porte-cochère and beach pavilion.
