While there is no prescribed formula that promises to help sell condo units, Surface Developments has created their own. Soon after launching Hampton Park Lofts, the Ottawa-based developer quickly realized the luxury condominium was already being deemed a wild success.
After one week of sales, the 18-unit residential building is now 67 per cent sold. With interested buyers popping into the sales centre more often than not, it’s safe to assume the remaining units won’t be hanging around for much longer.
The high-end development has been drawing significant interest thanks its affordable price tag combined with a wide-range of luxury features that are typically considered upgrades (think real wood kitchen cabinets, quartz countertops and a LED lighting package).
The Ottawa Citizen also recently reported on the project’s sales success. Jakub Ulak, president of Surface Developments, told the paper they had hit their target, and people coming into the sales centre have been quick to purchase after seeing the project’s high-quality features and exceptional design.
Hampton Park Lofts will be situated at 1308 Thames Street in Ottawa, near Kirkwood Avenue and the Queensway. The condo will rise three and a half storeys and occupancy is slated for August 2015.
Prices for available units start from $201,990 and lofts range in size from 577 to 1,016 square feet.
