In homage to the Muskoka landmark’s rich past, Skyline Resort Communities have enlisted award-winning firm Richard Wengle Architect Inc. to helm the design of Deerhurst Lakeside Lodge, the newest addition to the resort community.
Set along the waterfront at Pen Lake Point Road, Deerhurst Lakeside Lodge blends the beautiful natural setting of a cottage with all the amenities of a luxury condo to create what is the perfect getaway.
“Skyline president Gil Blutrich’s vision is to build a residence that resurrects the charm of the Grand Old Dames of the lake,” said Richard Wengle.
By taking design inspirations from older homes that previously stood Muskoka lakeside decades ago and referencing historic images of the region, Wengle and his team have gone to great lengths to preserve an authentic narrative of the area’s architecture.
“To evoke timelessness, we incorporated a neutral palette with earth tones such as taupes. A beautiful building that is understated in its own way, it blends in and complements the surroundings,” said the architect.
The ultimate destination for everything R&R, you can soak up the sun on the resort’s two-mile beach, take a dip in the terrace pool while taking in the waterfront views and even head to Deerhurst spa to get pampered.
When looking to satisfy your shopping fix, Huntsville will be just five kilometers away. As Muskoka’s largest town, you’ll find no shortage of quaint shops, cafes and restaurants.
Prospective residents will even receive a complimentary Initiation Fee to the SkyLife Club valued at $25,000 and one-year trial membership at Skyline Hotels and Resorts. With Members Only Access, you and your family can take advantage of over 50 activities including golfing, mountain biking and horseback riding.
Suites at the four-storey resort community will start from $169,900.
