About a month ago, On the GO Mimico officially broke ground at Royal York Road and Judson in front of a crowd of well-wishers, future residents and members of the community. Stanton Renaissance hasn’t exactly been sitting by idly since reaching that milestone. The builder is moving forward with work on the 242-unit condo.
It’s easy to see from the photos below that the construction is in full swing. We’ll be keeping track of the structure’s progress as it takes shape. After all, it is the first condo in Canada to be endorsed by Mike Holmes’ home approval program. Residents will have the assurance of Canada’s favourite handyman that the 27-project will be built to high standards.
On the GO Mimico has another claim to fame. It will also be the first high-rise condo in Toronto that will come equipped with an integrated GeoExchange Cogeneration system, a feature that provides eco-friendly “hybrid” heating, cooling and hydro generation. On top of it all, there’ll also be immediate access to the Mimico GO station on the property’s site for fast access to the downtown core.
What can condo-hunters expect once construction is complete? A standout design, sustainable living and access to the whole city!
