mondev rosemont sur le parc

You don’t need to get out of town to enjoy a bit of green space. Mondev Condos Urbain is building a number of condos across Montreal that are steps from scenic gardens, soccer fields and the perfect places for picnics.

We already covered five projects that are walking distance to such neighbourhood draws. But if you have a specific corner of the city in mind, be it NDG or Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, check out these four additional condos.

MI’X 28

Currently under construction at Jean Talon Street West and Rue Waverly, MI’X 28 is right around the corner from the expansive Jarry Park. The former home of the Montreal Expos, the space now features Uniprix Stadium, the main tennis court for the Canada Masters tournament in Montreal. The park is also home to a variety of recreational spaces including softball, cricket and soccer fields, as well as a skate park, basketball courts, a pool and even a lake.

Oxford Condos

At Boulevard de Maisonneuve Ouest and Oxford Avenue, the 30-unit condo is in the neighbourhood of Parc Georges-Saint-Pierre, a great place for grabbing a few friends to play bocce, basketball or just relax. There’s even a playground for little ones. Another neighbourhood perk? Notre-Dame-de-Grace Park is also home to a playground not to mention space to let your dog run off-leash.

Quartier M

It’s hard to beat the location of Quartier M at 2303 Avenue de la Salle. The 70-unit condos is just down the street from Maisonneuve Park, home to 63-hectares of green space. The far-reaching park is crossed with bike and foot paths and even features community garden plots in the north end. It’s also home to the Botanical Garden, an impressively landscaped space with more than 20 thematic gardens, 22,000 plant species and cultivars and 10 exhibition greenhouses. The neighbouring insectarium’s gardens even feature “musical siestas” or outdoor concerts in the summer.

Rosemont sur le Parc

The name says it all! The intimate condo is home to just 29 units and residents will enjoy immediate access to Père Marquette Park. It’s equipped with plenty of green space for picnics as well as a soccer field, basketball court, skate park and baseball field. It’s also the site of a community centre with a pool, arena, as well as a gym for indoor sports.
