Renderings via ASH NYC
The former Dannenhofer’s Opalescent Glassworks at 330 Himrod Street in Bushwick is going to be transformed into a mixed-use project.
Williamsburg-based ASH NYC, led by Jonathan Minkoff and Ari Heckman, is planning a 70,000-square-foot project at the site near Wyckoff Avenue. Wyckoff Heights uncovered renderings for the development, which will reportedly have 80 apartments and a retail component.
Demolition permits were filed July 3rd for part of the existing structure; the rest will be converted, according to the developer’s site. New “glass wings” will be built on both sides of the old brick factory building, five stories on the left and four stories on the right, Brownstoner reported. The plan exam application has yet to be filed.
