Though the grand opening event for The Upper House began at noon on Saturday, interested purchasers were already lining up outside the presentation centre well before the doors were set to swing open.
Once the clock hit 12pm, attendees packed into the colourful sales centre, located at 25 Malcolm Road in Toronto, to view floorplans, study the scale model and meet their future neighbours. Afterward, people ventured back outdoors for a big community barbecue.
The luxury community, nestled in Toronto’s established Leaside neighbourhood, will contain a seven-storey condo building with 74 suites and seven two-storey townhomes. But judging by the event turnout alone, this is one project that’s definitely worth keeping on your radar.
What makes the project even more distinct is Knightstone Capital Management’s fondness for furry friends. Not only are the words “Yes, there’s a pet spa” affixed to the wall of the sales centre, but there was even a pooch in attendance (see above).
Aside from its pet-friendly features, The Upper House will feature a number of sought-after amenities, from a spacious fitness studio to a residents lounge with a catering kitchen and large screen TV.
The residential building will also be surrounded by landscaped gardens and a stylish patio area.
Prices for available suites start from the low $300,000s.
