109oz In a decision issued on June 12th, the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) approved the Reserve Properties development planned for 109 Ossington Avenue.

109OZ had been met with resistance from community associations in the neighbourhood since it was announced in early 2012.

Since then, the Reserve Properties development proposal was revised and has now been deemed compatible with the surroundings on Ossington by the OMB.

Once complete, the condo building will be six storeys, unchanged from previous development proposals. The revised proposal does include a cap on maximum retail floor size to 500 square metres, increases to indoor and adjacent outdoor amenity spaces and a reduction in height to the top of the roof to 20 metres.

The hearing lasted eight days, according to official OMB documents.
