Toronto’s Queen and Gladstone area has been bustling with even more activity as of late thanks to an emerging master-planned community by Streetcar Developments that’s currently taking shape in the trendy west-end neighbourhood.
The Carnaby, a residential development that will house a 20-storey condo and four boutique loft buildings, has already risen to the fourth-floor amenity area. This means residents will soon be lounging on an outdoor terrace complete with bed-size chaises, or cooking up a storm in an indoor party room that’s decked out with a bar and full-sized kitchen.
We paid the construction site a visit last week to view the progress for ourselves. Check out the images we snapped below:
The image directly above is where the on-site Metro grocery store will be situated. At street level, each building will connect through a landscaped laneway that’s reserved for pedestrians and cyclists.
Once complete, residents will live in the heart of the thriving Queen West community. Spend your days off exploring the many boutique vintage stores and galleries before heading to a trendy bar for patio drinks.
Prices for available suites start from $272,900 and units range in size from 491 to 1,350 square feet.
