When Manhattan Upper West Side launched last year, Barrie residents were quick to conjure up images of New York City and all its glitz and glamour. Now that construction has officially begun, it won’t be long before purchasers can experience their own part of that big city life.
Pratt Homes looked to the Big Apple for inspiration in designing the residential development, which will consist of three 48-unit condo buildings. Each one is named after a famous NYC attraction — there’s the Rockefeller, the Bloomingdale and the Empire.
The community’s outdoor amenity area will also pay homage to some of the city’s other well-known landmarks, like the Tavern on the Green restaurant in Central Park. The condo project will contain its own green space under the same name, and while there won’t be a restaurant, there will be a stunning community area in the courtyard, complete with chess tables.
Residents will find themselves outside most hours of the day thanks to the development’s track field that wraps around a perimeter of water. There will also be fitness equipment outside, making the whole workout experience far more pleasant.
Across from Manhattan Upper West is Pratt Homes’ first NYC-inspired project, Manhattan. There’s also an eco-park that sits right beside the project where residents can explore the trails and take in the scenic forestry and wildlife.
Once complete, each suite will be equipped with deluxe cabinetry with laminate contoured countertops, a double stainless steel kitchen sink, ceramic bathroom accessories and a spacious balcony.
Prices for available suites start from $165,990 and units range in size from 606 to 1,464 square feet.
