That’s right. The BIG-designed, top-heavy development from Westbank will offer something to all Vancouverites, not just residents of the 52-storey tower.

When completed in 2018, the vibrant Beach District neighbourhood will be comprised of retail space, restaurants, a liquor store, offices, public art and much more.

As Ingels explains in the video, Beach District will also connect to a proposed greenway on top of the Granville Bridge — a panoramic walking and bike route to Granville Island, and the retail and entertainment district along South Granville.
