Last month Canadian homebuilder Mattamy Homes announced it had closed a deal to purchase 9,600 acres of land in southwest Florida. The deal cost a cool $86.25 million and is the largest single piece of land Mattamy has ever bought.
According to a report in the Globe and Mail, the developer is looking to build close to 15,000 homes on the land over the next 20 to 25 years.
