Rendering: Morris Adjmi Architects
A year ago, in June 2013, we broke the news on Adjmilicious renderings for Williamsburg’s 287 Broadway. And now, we’ve got official details and a more toothsome rendering for the rental project by Midwood Investment & Development.
Now called 282 South 5th Street, the 13-story building will indeed be designed by Morris Adjmi, who is also crafting the interiors. The architect of record is Goldstein, Hill & West.
The mixed-use building will boast 82 apartments and two levels of retail space; the second floor will have a 17,000-square-foot commercial health club. All rentals will feature floor-to-ceiling windows and vented dryers. The units will consist of 24 studios, 40 one-bedrooms and 18 two-bedrooms, Curbed reported.
Amenities include a doorman, concierge, gym, yoga studio, resident lounge with billiard table, dog spa, 162-car parking garage, 82-bike storage, third-floor deck and roof deck with BBQ, fire pit and lounging area. Residents also get a walking path, lawn, dog run and communal organic vegetable garden on the third floor.
