A former inn and the last remaining building of the Village of Lambton Mills on the banks of the Humber River, Lambton House still stands today thanks to the joint efforts of Etobicoke community members. The nearly 170-year-old building continues to welcome architecture lovers and history buffs, and hosts Community Pub Nights held the first Friday of each month – except during February, July and August.
For more than 60 years, Islington United Church has been an architectural highlight and beacon in the community, and has sponsored countless charitable programs. The church holds four Christmas Eve services and is home to over 30 weddings every year.
