Renderings: Modern Spaces
A three-unit building is nearing completion at 5-41 47th Road in Long Island City.
Dubbed “FIVE Fortyone,” the development will offer three-bedroom, three-bathroom units with “their own fully appointed and perfectly landscaped” private outdoor spaces. Anticipated occupancy is early Fall 2014.
The homes consist of a 2,040-square-foot garden duplex, a 1,616-square-foot penthouse triplex and yet another 1,596-square-foot penthouse triplex (that’s 66.67 percent penthouse for the whole building). Each kitchen will have a built-in wine cooler, Viking gas range, Viking fridge and Bosch dishwasher. Interiors will feature pale grey wide plank hardwood floors and master baths with Kohler finishes, rain showers and pull-down teak benches.
The building, located in a special mixed-use district, received zoning approval in late August, Brownstoner Queens reported. The architect of record is Robert Wilkanowski Architecture.
