Leasing has commenced at holy Williamsburg rental 281 Union Avenue.
Located on an island lot once home to a church, the seven-story, 33-unit building offers 27 one-bedrooms, three two-bedrooms and three three-bedrooms, ranging in size from about 593 square feet to 1,234 square feet. Available units are priced from $2,200 to $4,500.
Interiors have double-glazed tilt windows, wide-plank oak floors, kitchens with Caesarstone countertops and Bosch appliances, central heating and cooling with wall-mounted thermostats and video intercom security. Select units have private exterior space, and some apartments offer views of the World Trade Center.
Amenities include a gym, shared work space, package room, on-site parking, bike storage, private storage and a landscaped roof deck with Manhattan views. Brownstoner took construction shots of the development rising last summer.
The building comes with a 421a 15-year tax abatement, according to a press release issued by the developers, Alex Brown Realty, Inc. and Largo Investments.
