Arthouse model suite

ArtHouse Condos has already made an artistic impression with its elegant features and inventive amenity spaces, but Flato Developments’ creative ideas extend beyond the condominium itself.

The developer is hosting an exclusive reception at the Varley Art Gallery of Markham, where attendees can sip on wine and sample hors d’oeuvres while admiring local works of art.

Those who attend will also receive a private tour of the exhibition titled Colour, In Theory. The display showcases selected works of art from the gallery’s permanent collection, along with striking pieces from F.H. Varley, one of the founding members of the Group of Seven.

The exhibit also features paintings from the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, the Hart House Collection and works from York-based artist Janet Read.

After an evening surrounded by works of art, chances are you’ll be tempted to invest in a new piece. We have good news: Flato has organized a free raffle for the event and the winner will receive a painting by a local artist.

Interested in enjoying a free evening of art appreciation? The first event will take place on Wednesday, March 19th at the Varley Art Gallery, located at 216 Main Street Unionville in Markham. Residents are encouraged to show up at 5:30pm and the event ends at 8:00pm.

The same event will also be held on May 2nd and June 19th, so don’t fret if you miss the first one! Just be sure to RSVP by emailing or call 905 554 8722.

ArtHouse is a 14-storey condominium currently in pre-construction at 9582 Markham Road. The development caters to creative types and will feature a digital arts centre, culinary arts room and separate artist’s studio.

Available units start from the mid $200,000s and suites range in size from 550 to 1,000 square feet.
