Turns out there’s a way to reap the benefits of living in Toronto’s downtown core while still feeling connected to nature.
Easton’s Group of Hotels is bringing Dundas Square Gardens to the very heart of Toronto, and the developer has plans to incorporate five rooftop terrace gardens into the community, which will be located on various floors of the 47-storey condominium.
The outdoor spaces are inspired by the nearby Allan Gardens, a scenic park and botanical garden with six greenhouses located just north of the development. The park spans for 16,000 square feet, which is the same size as the garden terraces within the condominium collectively.
The largest rooftop garden at Dundas Square Gardens will be located on the 18th floor and will total 8,000 square feet. The space will be equipped with an infinity edge pool, cascading water feature, stone fire pit, numerous barbecue pits and a hot tub. Residents can also lounge on a sun deck or unwind at the private seating area.
Looking to stay active in a modern fitness centre or practice your mountain pose in a brightly-lit yoga studio? These amenities are located on the 18th floor too.
When you head down the elevators, stop at the third floor and check out the sky lobby and contemporary lounge space complete with a bar. This area is adjacent to another rooftop terrace garden that — get this — includes a dog walking space with winding pathways.
The second floor also boasts a library with study spaces, a media room and guest suites while the fifth floor features an additional small garden terrace.
Of course, the outdoor gardens and on-site amenities are just some of the unique features within the residential community. Each suite will come with a wide-variety of features and finishes, like quartz kitchen countertops, stainless steel appliances and custom-designed vanities.
Located at Dundas and Jarvis Streets, the new community will also house a 16-storey boutique building and residents will be within walking distance to Ryerson University and the Toronto Eaton Centre.
