Developer TAS has officially scored 12 nominations for the 34th Annual BILD Awards and DUKE Condos is a finalist in 11 categories. This makes the boutique condo the most nominated project this year. Talk about a well-received development!

The exclusive gala, which will take place on April 25th, recognizes the best of the best in the GTA’s development industry. The event team tipped its hat to developer TAS for DUKE’s innovation design, original branding and community development.

Out of all the nominations received, one major standout is the “Best P2G Community of the Year (High-Rise)” award. The DUKE received this nomination for its “smart growth” of the community, meaning it’s helped enhance the Junction neighbourhood with its environmental focus and modern architecture.

The masterminds behind the project also deserve recognition. Quadrangle Architects created the distinct geometric-shaped exterior and the suite layouts, while design firm Mason Studio worked their magic on the condo’s trendy presentation centre.

TAS also scored a nomination for “Green Home Builder of the Year (High-Rise)”, which is an award the company previously won in 2009 thanks to its use of green technologies for M5V Condominiums.

Considering all of the above, it comes as no surprise that the new condo is already over 60 per cent sold. And just like the developer’s previous projects, DUKE will flex its green thumb with in-suite energy recovery ventilators, a green roof and terraces lined with planters for home gardening.

Prices for available units start in the lower $200,000s and suites range from 445 to 1,537 square feet.
