In the fall, we paid a visit to the new-and-improved presentation centre of The Carnaby, the latest addition to the West Queen West condo scene from Streetcar Developments and Dundee Realty.

Our interest was piqued by the project’s delightfully colourful interiors, but what about the exteriors? Designed by TACT Architecture Inc., the condo condo building will be anchored by a dramatic, dark-clad podium. The tower will also features vertical details on the balconies that transition seamlessly into lobby details at lower levels.

The mixed-use development will be made up of a 20-storey building and a collection of four boutique loft buildings. What’s more, there will be a Metro grocery store located on the ground floor of the project for extra convenience. Keeping common areas animated, a row or laneway will run through the enclave, integrating life and pedestrian traffic into the core of the project.

We wanted to check in on the smartly-design west side project. Below are some construction pictures we took from the site. Enjoy!
