Buyers through the busy presentation centre (located at #100 – 1265 Howe Street) have been impressed with the project’s resort-style amenities, central location, impressive views and high-end finishings.
The good news for would-be buyers is there is still a great selection of homes available in the 40-storey tower. Even better: the provincial government has made it possible for first-time buyers to purchase a home worth up to $475,000 under the Property Transfer Tax First-Time Home Buyers’ Exemption program. This is $50,000 more than the previous threshold and under this new change, first-time buyers will annually be eligible to save up to $7,500 in property transfer taxes when they purchase their first home. There is also a partial exemption on homes valued between $475,000 and $500,000.
Remaining Tate on Howe homes are priced from $309,900. The project is scheduled for completion in 2017. To learn more, visit the presentation centre between 12pm and 5pm Saturday through Thursday.
