ADI Development’s previous Burlington project, The Mod’rn, wowed condo-hunters with its contemporary design. Once again, the builder is bringing modern living with a twist to the city’s real estate scene with LINK Condos + Towns. For this project, they’re also enlisting the help of Gordana Car Interior Design Studio for all things interior.
Dora Car, an Associate Interior Designer at the firm, explained the distinction between the two popular projects.
“LINK is still a very modern project, but it just takes things to the next level by incorporating the natural elements of its surroundings. It’s very much inspired by nearby Bronte Creek,” she explained.
The theme is carried forward to the individual suites, which will have floor-to-ceiling windows to let the light in and give residents great views of the greenery close by. The finishes are contemporary, while the natural tones reflect the structure’s setting.
“It’s the perfect balance of both styles,” said Car. “The architecture is asymmetrical and the condos aren’t cookie cutter suites, either.”
RAW Design is behind the architecture of the building, which will be U-shaped and oriented towards Bronte Creek. Tiered floors at shifting angles will maximize the views for residents. At street level, the exterior’s geometric cubes will surely make the building stand out.
In designing the sales centre, Car knew the space had to live up to the bold, modern look of the building design. She chose timeless pieces such as modern chairs to play up that aspect of the building’s design.
What impressed Car the most about the undertaking was ADI Development and Fortress Real Developments‘ understanding of the importance of lifestyle-based amenities: the project will come fully equipped with a wealth of entertaining space as well as a full exercise facility with onsite fitness classes.
“It was a great opportunity to do something different and create a space that’s unique and iconic,” she said.
Suites range in size from 492 to 1,282 square feet. For a look at the model suite check out the photos below:
