Dundas Square Gardens will soon alter the way people live in Toronto’s downtown core. The new luxury condo community by the Easton’s Group of Hotels is catered to those who thrive in the heart of the city’s hustle and bustle, but still crave a break from the action.
Situated at the corner of Dundas Street East at Jarvis Street, the new project will boast two modern residential buildings: Dundas Square Tower and Garden Tower. The former will stand 47 storeys tall on the western side of the site, while the accompanying tower will rise 16 storeys.
The boutique Garden Tower will offer residents a sense of tranquility amongst the city’s crowded streets. For starters, it will feature five rooftop gardens and spacious terraces that will make up 16,000 square feet of space — that’s more than a third of an acre of green space.
While the smaller tower will come with a separate entrance and elevators, residents will still have access to the wide-range of amenities housed within the larger tower. We’re talking a fully-equipped fitness centre and yoga room, outdoor pool with an infinity edge and a BBQ space to entertain guests. The second floor will even contain a library with study spaces, meeting rooms and a few guest suites.
The Dundas Square Tower will also stand out against the neighbouring condo buildings thanks to the finesse of Page + Steele IBI Group Architects. The contemporary highrise will be punctuated by a shifting white grid that wraps about the building along with distinctly placed balconies.
And why have one terrance, when you can have multiple? Residents can lounge poolside on the 18th floor terrace before unwinding on the fifth floor terrace or visiting the third floor garden-inspired terrace, which is adjacent to the two-storey lobby.
Each suite, designed by interior design firm Munge Leung, will be dressed in modern features and finishes such as quartz kitchen counters, stainless steel appliances and porcelain bathroom floors.
In terms of location, Dundas Square Gardens is as convenient as it gets. Step outside and hop on transit or shop at the Eaton Centre before visiting Allan Gardens.
And get this: for every suite sold, Easton’s Group will donate $1,000 to Ryerson University, which is also in walking distance. In the end, the developer will donate $1 million to the university in total. How is that for incentive?
Prices for available suites start from $199,998.
