The unique Massey Tower presentation centre at Yonge and Queen streets in Toronto feels more like a lavish theatre space than it does a sales office. And with construction starting in spring, there’s limited time to visit before the curtains close for good.
Located inside the historic Canadian Bank of Commerce Building, which had previously been unoccupied since 1987, the presentation centre is only a preview of what MOD Developments has in store for its residents. From plush gold cushions to red velvet curtains, the regally dressed room ensures that the name isn’t Massey Tower’s only reference to Toronto’s celebrated theatre scene.
When Massey Tower is complete, the presentation centre will have been transformed into the building lobby.
To check out the smartly-designed space for yourself, head over to 197 Yonge Street.
Once complete, the 60-storey glass tower has the potential to add even more life to Toronto’s theatre block. The building will feature modern curved balconies and offer striking views thanks to the work of Hariri Pontarini Architects.
Massey Tower will also house a number of impressive amenities on the ninth floor, such as a spacious fitness centre, steam room and juice bar. The tenth floor will be equipped with an elegant cocktail lounge, piano bar and terrace.
Located in the city’s downtown core, residents can step outside and browse around the Eaton Centre before attending a concert at Massey Hall or dining at one of the many nearby restaurants.
Prices for available units start in the low $300,000s and suites range in size from 377 to 1,085 square feet.
