Sales launched in October for Elad Group’s seven-unit prewar conversion. The landmarked building next to the Plaza Hotel offers six full-floor residences and a duplex penthouse asking $26.5 million. A 2,021-square-foot two-bedroom is in contract for $7.5 million.
The site has new shots of the model unit, which was fitted with decor “curated for 22 Central Park South by special arrangement with Bergdorf Goodman.” The brands decorating the model apartment include Kelly Wearstler, L’Objet and Dyptique. The Bergdorf’s staff will be on call for personal shopping and at-home salon treatments for residents, the New York Times reported.
The kitchen comes with appliances and finishes from signature brands including SieMatic, Miele, Kallista and Lefroy Brooks. The all-white master bedroom features custom vanities with Carrara marble countertops, double sinks, Italian mosaic tile flooring, Signature Catalina soaking tub, radiant floor heating and a Lefroy Brooks water closet. The master bedroom has recessed ceiling lights, solid walnut flooring and pre-wiring for wall-mounted televisions.
Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing is handling sales at the building.
