It took 27 months to build the 68-story Marriott Courtyard and Residence Inn in New York’s Time Square, but thanks to EarthCam’s high-definition camera, you can watch the entire construction process in just 60 seconds.
The hotel, which opened on December 29th at 1717 Broadway at 54th Street, is 750 feet tall. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, that makes it the tallest hotel in North America, in front of former number one: the Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Detroit.
