Menkes’ latest luxury condominium, Pears on the Avenue, at Avenue Road and Davenport in Toronto has been making significant progress throughout the winter months, and we’ve got the photographs to prove it.
Thanks to the skillful work of Page + Steele/IBI Group Architects, the luxury 20-storey tower will be clad in expansive glass that’s further enhanced by metal, stone and brick materials. It will also feature five elegant townhouse units that have direct access to all building amenities.
So as you picture the final product, take a look at some of the construction shots we captured while on site earlier this week:
The luxury development will feature a collection of five three-storey townhomes, which are steps from a number of upscale retail shops and eateries.
Picture an indoor swimming pool area that will boast elegant columns and cabana style seating.
Did we mention that Pears will also house a ground-floor retail space? While the tenants have yet to be decided, stay tuned!
Here’s a look at the party room, facing west. It will soon contain an elegant catering kitchen and wet bar.
Finally, here we are on the roof of townhouse number three with the crystal-blue sky as our backdrop.
Located at 162 Avenue Road, residents will be a stone’s throw away from many of Toronto’s most sought-after amenities and retail destinations. It’s where Yorkville meets The Annex — the best of both worlds, so to speak. Purchasers can dine at one of the neighbouring high-end restaurants on Avenue Road before window shopping on the glitzy Mink Mile.
Prices for available suites start in the upper $300,000s and units range from 486 to 1,974 square feet.
