Environmentally friendly 255 Columbia Street is 80 percent sold.
The seven-story condo project in Columbia Street Waterfront District started sales in October. The 13-unit building by HPI Development, LLC uses Passive House design for energy efficiency, filtered air and noise reduction.
The remaining available units, a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom, are priced at $975,000 and $1.475 million, respectively. Both residences have private outdoor space, complete with flower boxes.
Interiors have American walnut floors, custom cabinetry, Bosch appliances and marble master bathrooms. Yet to be released is the four-bedroom penthouse with terrace, which will hit the market in the early spring.
Eco touches persist in the amenity space, which includes a reclaimed wood canopy at the entrance, a 2,000-square-foot landscaped common garden, private storage for each residence and a bicycle room.
