50 West Street DBOX

Time Equities has released a new teaser site — complete with tantalizing video — for Lower Manhattan’s 50 West Street.

The 63-story condo tower is set to launch sales in Spring 2014, with construction slated for completion in 2016. Helmut Jahn designed the rounded glass facade, and Thomas Juul Hansen created the interiors.

The promo video on the DBOX-designed site shows off the building’s curves and views, with equal parts shimmer and swoopiness. Yes, that’s a technical term.

Located just south of Rector Street, the project will include a public plaza with a pedestrian walkway connecting West and Washington streets. The development, which is targeting LEED Silver certification, will have access to Battery Park City, Wall Street, public schools and waterfront parks.
