downtown on the go mimico Last weekend, On the Go Mimico opened its doors to early birds for an exclusive pricing event before the suites go on the market to the general public. Aside from the festive atmosphere and delicious Italian pastries, CHIN radio also dropped by Sunday afternoon and broadcast live from the sales centre at Royal York Road and Judson Street.

It’s definitely worth checking out the sales centre. Stanton Renaissance and YYZed Project Management  have refurbished what is believed to be the last existing CN Rail station in the city, located on the edge of Coronation Park. Once the project is complete, the space will be converted to community recreation centre and historical train museum.

Curious? Take a look at our photos of the centre and the weekend preview event:

We’ve seen a number of sales centres, but how many can boast such a storied history?

Since the 27-storey condo has direct access to a Go train station, the city centre is just over ten minutes away.

A neat addition to the sales centre – this vending machine supplies visitors with a free coffee coupon at local favourite Sanremo Bakery.

Right across the street from the sales centre is the site of the condo. You can see just how close the commuter rail line will be to the project.

While the convenience factor will surely be a big draw for condo-hunters, On the Go Mimico features another one-of-a-kind element. The structure is also quite eco-friendly and will be the first Toronto high-rise to integrate geoexchange and cogeneration technologies into the power supply.

On top of it all, there’s the location in Mimico, which features plenty of park space, waterfront trails and a colourful array of mom and pop shops, cafes and more.

Suites start from the mid $200,000s.
