Because Greenpoint is a happening place where things happen, 66 Nassau Avenue is getting a new five-story mixed-use building.
Located on the corner of Nassau Avenue and Lorimer Street, the project will have 5,394 square feet of residential space spread over three apartments. The architect of record is New York Design Architects, according to the plan exam application filed November 1st.
The first floor will be commercial space, while the second level will house a community facility. The third story will have two apartments, while a duplex occupies the top two floors.
The property, right at the northern tip of McCarren Park, is currently home to Northside Medical Care LLP. The developer is Greenburg Properties (get it? Because Greenpoint and Williamsburg), an LLC affiliated with 910 Manhattan Avenue Realty in Forest Hills, Queens.
